In lieu of more substantial and thoughtful… um, thoughts, I give you this adorable picture of an adorable baby, sitting on a birdbath.

{I have it on good authority that her auntie Katherine was right nearby with a hand out to catch her if she toppled. When we put Maria on the stairs to take a photo – well, let’s just say that hand wasn’t as close as it should could have been. Kat, don’t worry – you can hardly see the bump on her forehead anymore.}
