iheartfaces is having a birthday… the category this week is “your best face.”  I haven’t had many faces better than this one lately!

My gorgeous girl is 8 months old today… we celebrated by going to work together and changing her outfit in the middle of the morning because she spat upon the first one (which, BTW, was really cute).

Anyhow, I found the goofiest hat in the house (my winter hat), and put it on her. She’s adorable, no?

Here’s this week’s entry for I Heart Faces. I haven’t entered in a few weeks because I just haven’t had a picture that felt right for the requirements. Head on over for some other awesome photo inspiration!

This week’s theme at I Heart Faces is “no flash.” I don’t think I have taken more than 4 or 5 photos using the flash since I bought my camera, and I’m pretty sure I deleted them all. Unless the moment was once in a lifetime and to miss the photo op would result in a lifetime of regret, I’d basically rather not take a picture than use the flash. So I had a lot of photos to choose from… but this one is probably my favorite. Next week I’ll do my best to use a photo of Henry. Must keep things equal!
