About a month and a half ago, when it was still necessary to wear long sleeves and maybe a light vest, we went to a local nature park. I forgot all about these pictures! And today, I found them, just sitting there on the ole' hard drive, patiently waiting to be shared with my adoring fans. (that's you, mom!)
Henry loves looking through his "nocuhlers". He mostly looks through the wrong end, because it makes close up things look far away. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of the focus concept yet.
This might be one of my all time favorite pictures. Gotta love a daddy and his boy. I can't believe this kid is almost 3.
Oh, and I had to spill the beans on my own dang secret today! For about a week, few people have been aware that Henry and I were going to surprise my sister with a visit a week from tomorrow. Turns out my sister looks out for cheap airfare too - this afternoon she called me and said, "Hey, there's some cheap tickets... when would be a good time to come visit?" Weeeeelllll.... and then I told her. She's gonna have a little fun with her sweet husband tonight, trying to get him to tell her the secret. Tee Hee! The good part about her knowing is that she'll be able to arrange her schedule accordingly, and ALSO, we'll go together for when I get the big CHOP! Yes, it's finally time for Locks of Love to get this unruly mane and turn it into (part of) a lovely hairpiece for someone else. She'll take some pictures for me and then of course I'll share it with all you lovely folks. I can't wait.
