We had a test of our parents-of-two-children status last night - er, this morning, rather. Henry went to bed with a fever that was going down after getting some medicine. He woke up at about 3:25 telling me his chest hurt. I'm not sure why his chest hurt, but his fever was 102.4 and he was acting very strange. Just then Maria started to squawk and I had to turn Henry over to Timon. The reason for this, believe it or not, is that Timon is not currently lactating, which is what caring for Maria would require just then. It's interesting how rarely I stop to remember that we didn't always exist as a family of four. Last night was one of those times. Today he's still running a fever, only controlled by medicine. Home from school tomorrow, I think.
Thanks to Nana & Papa for the kite!
Can you stand how pretty she is?
And if you had any doubt that my children look alike, here is the proof:

Henry, age 2 yrs. Maria, age 2 mos.
