Soooo, I went to the OB today. Not much of note to report except that (and all you other pregnant women, please resist the temptation to reach through your computer screens, all the way through the internets, and strangle me) I have not gained any weight in a month. Again. Seriously, that's weird, right? To be seven months pregnant, around the time when the baby starts packing on the pounds, and to not have gained even one measly pound? The doctor is not at all concerned, although she did ask if I was dieting to which I naturally responded with a hearty guffaw.
The baby sounds good, my BP was great, my abdomen is measuring right on target. I do not have gestational diabetes. So apparently Bertha is taking her nourishment from my "stores," which is just fine with me. We discovered that this OB is 28 weeks pregnant herself, which doesn't look good for her being around to help Bertha make her exit. It's too bad (HOW selfish am I, seriously!), since she's my favorite of the three. It's her second child, and I'm telling you, we debated asking her if she was pregnant given her small frame. But Timon threw himself under the bus for the sake of satisfying our curious minds. What a man. I knew there was a reason I kept him around.

Grats on the weight issue
Don't worry about the weight..I only gained 10 lbs each with the girls. IT is funny like that. With Zachary I gained 35lbs! Be grateful you are having a girl..lol.
I plan to go in the basement this week to go through baby clothing to give to you once you are here. I can't wait to see you! Two more days! YAY! Have a very safe and uneventful trip up north!

Yah on not gaining weight, we don't get weighed at appointments but according to my scales i have not gained any in weeks. All happy as i put on a horrible amount with my first two pregnancies .

i think as long as your fundal height increases who cares about weight.. I wish they didn't weigh women eqach appointment it can lead to a lot of complaints that are not needed from medical staff.. weight is relative it varies.

too many mommas get hurt and upset because doctors ride them about weight issues- I know mommas who have been induced or even sectioned because their doc decide their babe is "too big""..
