Henry enjoys telling us what's happening right as we're in the middle of it, and also reporting on the recent events in his life. Like right now, he's telling me who has number one and who has number zero in the U.S. Open match that's on. This morning he announced that there is no bacon at the church's men's breakfast, only sausage. And sometimes he comes out of his bed at 10:30 pm to inform us that it's raining outside. But the funniest instance occurred this morning - he was playing on the living room floor with a truck and a duck and we heard this exchange:
Whatchu doin, said the orange truck man.
I going around, said the giant purple duck.
Oh, okay. Wets go ober here.
I ride on you, said the giant purple duck.
I promise you, that's exactly what he said and how he said it. It's impossible to resist being in love with this boy.

OH that is priceless!! Melody has been doing the same thing lately. Making up narrations and talking to people on the pretend phone or even my cell phone with it not even being on. Yesterday she told Peter she was going grocery shopping but first needed to stop and go to the bank and then get some gas for the car. Then she was going to get all kinds of food..it would take forever to write it all...but the list was rather long. :) She is just like her mother already..she LOVES to SHOP!
