This seems like extra information to me: to label these crushed tomatoes in a rich puree as "recipe ready". Aren't ALL things technically "recipe ready"? Even a recipe itself is "recipe ready" to aid in a tasty meal, or an efficient design, or a terrific disaster. Each ingredient listed on every recipe is "recipe ready". They're just sitting there, waiting for the right person to come along and use them in a recipe. They're ready. All right, already!
