- Now that baseball season has begun, I have been watching A LOT more tv than we normally do. Ay yi yi.
- Our washer is STILL not functional. I cannot even tell you how much laundry is piling up, although I did go to a friend’s house this morning to wash diapers. Fortunately the part seems to have been shipped and will hopefully arrive soon-ish.
- Maria seems to be recovering from whatever virus/mood-altering bug that was affecting her yesterday. She was a total pill and only slept 20 minutes yesterday, and finally talked herself to sleep around 9pm.
- We caved and turned the A/C on yesterday. Our original goal was April 1, and then it was still comfortable, so we left it off and set a new goal of the 15th. If we hadn’t had that month where we actually used the heat (EGADS, not THE HEAT?!?), our power bill would have been lovely. All you northern people who are about to say YOU DON’T KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE HEAT IS MISSY, please consider that in order to not lose my ever-loving mind from April – November, I must pay lots and lots of money to keep our home even at the tolerable level of 80 degrees. Plenty of other Floridians I know keep their homes at 70, and I don’t want to even think about what they pay.
Now, go over to Danifred’s and join in the fun!

We have had our air on for the past two days...thank goodness it's cooler today! I couldn't believe it! Have a good weekend!
We keep it at 76 during the day and 72 at night, or Matt dies.
We are constantly fighting the heat/ air conditioner battle. Lately, the weather has been very bipolar here and we've had to use both. If we could trust our kids not to push themselves through windows we could pay a lot less every month by opening windows and allowing the breeze in!
Ugg. We had snow this week in Utah. I think I need to head your way. Bring on the sunshine and A/C I say!
