In honor of my sister and her husband's 3rd wedding anniversary (leather would be the traditional gift), I present you with this acronym. Imagine it tooled on a piece of fine leather (which is how I like to imagine all my acronyms). Enjoy.

A is for airplane, which Phil's learning to fly.
T is for Tackett, their last name.
H is for happy, which Kat was when they got cable.
E is for exceptionally smart, and they both are.
R is for rats, which I hope they don't have in their house.
I is for interesting conversations, which I imagine they have.
N is for neat, which Katherine always was more than me.
E is for excited, which Henry and I am to see them.
& (is for "and")
P is for pretty darn cool, and they both are that.
H is for hopping in the car for a road-trip which they just did.
I is for the incredibly over my head work that Phil does.
L is for loving each other, which they do.
I is for the insanity of spending January-March in Barrow, AK.
P is for PhD, which Phil will have someday to support all of us with.
T is for trains in their backyard. Real ones, not models. That would be geeky.
A is for the As these two always got in school.
C is for Cathy, which is my sister's favorite nickname.
K is for Kate, her other favorite.
E is for emu, which is an animal I'm not sure either of them have ever petted.
T is for trucks, of which they inexplicably have 2.
T is for time together, which I hope there are many more years of.
